Watching

I love to sit and watch her.  

Her imagination goes wild.  

She is always inventing, dreaming, playing, creating. 

I love watching her work, sing, play.

She makes my heart sing, and reminds me that I am doing something right with her.

I just love this girl.

Ch-ch-ch-CHANGES

Okey dokey friends.  I am going to be mixing things up here a bit.  I am the proud new owner of a Flip video camera!!!  I am so excited about this and will tell you more about it later, but for now, just know that I am going to start sharing more videos!!!

As the Mama of many little ones, I have a few tricks up my sleeve.  So, I am going to start sharing them with you, in video form!  They are not edited, true to life, and just so me.

Today I want to talk about how we encourage creativity in our children.  Watch the video, see what we do, and let me know what you do!!!

From my Spooky House to Yours!

 Can you guess whose pumpkin is whose?

This week has been a flurry getting ready for the big day.  My kids have never been as excited for Halloween as they were this year.  When Seth's school sent home a note on Monday saying that no weapons were allowed, we had to scrap the Jedi costume.  Because really, who wants to be a Jedi when you can't have your Light Saber? ;)

So, he decided he needed to be Wall-E.  Cute huh? 

I'm lucky to have such a handy husband.  I came up with the basic design and he went off running.  The eyes were all him.  Man am I lucky!
