Intervention

My family held an intervention tonight. I recorded it for you to see. It's a wee bit blurry but that is because it was taken with my camera and that doesn't have the best video capacity.

They think I have a problem, I don't. They are cute though.

And, for the record, here are the sweets I had this week:

Ice Cream (for Seth's birthday)
cinnamon roll (just cause)
salt water taffy (or was that last week?)
cookies (I made them today, ugh)
brownie (at Jeremy's cousins wedding lunch yesterday...this list is getting long)
A dr. pepper or 3...

Ok...maybe they have a point.

Yes Kate, you are one of my enablers.

I will have to post the 12 step program on Monday (while I am making more cookies)

I bought a whole case of candy bars from the dollar store the other day and have been eating like 4/5 a day. Then I asked my DH for a blessing the other night for comfort and in it I was told to only put things in my body that I know are good for it. So.. yeah. I had an intervention this week, too. LOL.

I used to have that problem too. I still do on occasion. About six months ago I decided I really wanted to get healthy. I started eating right and working out daily. I have lost almost 35 pounds since then. I feel so happy and empowered. When you're counting calories, it's easy to limit yourself to one cookie, so that you have enough for lots of great food.
Do whatever makes you happy. Sweets sure are instant gratification, but being healhty might be worth the sacrifice.

I have this same problem. Sorry for not helping you get the cookies out of your house.

I don't have that problem. I can stop eating cookies anytime I want. (denial? what's that?)
