Tuesday Inspriation::Shabby Miss Jenn

Over 6 1/2 years ago, I found out I was pregnant with Emma. One day as I was thumbing through a pregnancy magazine, I saw an ad for a forum for pregnant women. I immediately joined, and found the due date forum for those who were due in January 2003. The women on that forum went through all of our pregnancies, the births, Emma's death, and so many other things together. I have made some of my closest friends through that venue.

Why do I tell you about this in the Tuesday Inspiration? Well, one of them is my sweet friend, Shabby Miss Jenn! Jenn was one of the first people I met who was as in love with her Mac as my husband! She started digital scrapbooking and quickly fell in love with it! She made me TONS of great scrapbook signatures for our forum, and I adore them! Check these out.

She now has a fantastic business, Shabby Miss Jenn Designs, with a whole team of artists.

She is not only an extremely talented artist, but also a fantastic Mama to 3 beautiful kiddos and wife to a very sweet man. She loves her family and blogs about them and her shabby finds over here.

Jenn is responsible for making sure I also have a Shabby new home over here on Blogger! She gifted me a couple of blog packs. Isn't it great? Just makes you feel the crisp in the air and makes you feel ready for fall!

Jenn wants YOU to have a Shabby Blog also! She is offering 3 blog packs to my lucky readers! I am going to spread the love around and choose 3 winners. To enter, go over to her website and look around. Come back here and comment about what your favorite pack is. Doesn't have to be blog, but anything! For another entry to win, write about this in your blog, then comment again with that info. Easy peasy!
I will choose 3 winners on Sunday, October 26 at 9 pm Mountain Time. So...don't delay, go meet my dear friend, Shabby Miss Jenn!

Ooh... Maybe we should suggest a yarn/knitting kit. That's one I'm always on the lookout for, but I can never find.

So cute. I haven't gotten into digital scrapbooking yet, I bought a bunch of real scrapbooking supplies and haven't done that yet, so I can't make myself give up and go the digital route. Anyway, I loved the calendar kits though, We did a bunch of those for Christmas last year and it was a huge hit!

I love the Going Green one too. I feel like I should be in a more fall-like mood, but I'm not. Guess I'm just in denial about the impending winter.

So, FIRST I was totally overwhelmed. I would love to be "into" scrapbooking but I'm just not! Since I'm lost to that world I had no idea so many fun things like that even existed. I love the vintage look so I think all the kids are beautiful but what I'm really dying over are the fun little projects that even people like me (who don't like scrapbooking) can do! I can't even begin to think about how to design a page (even digitally) but I LOVE the cd albums and tin albums.. and really all those little albums! HOW FUN!

I paper scrapbook and I've thought about going digital with my scrapbooking but just haven't went down that road yet. Maybe it's b/c I have spent hundreds of dollars in scrapbooking supplies so I'd feel quilty letting them collect even more dust in my drawers then they are now...LOL But after seeing your blog I've choose to look at her blog packs...that I might add it's been forever since I've looked at her store site so I didn't even realize she did them. But I'm LOVING them. How sweet are they!! I couldn't choose just one of course...My favorites are Hipster, Letters, and the Bohemian Traveler's pack.

And I'm so glad the forum holds such a special place in your heart like it does mine. I'm so glad we had each other for anything during all our times there. I'm sad it's not as active as it was but I'm so glad I've been able to keep in touch with you as well as a few others! love ya hun!!

I'm off to write a post on my blog now!
